About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Qoya (pronounced COY-uh) is based on the idea that through movement, we remember that our essence is wise, wild, and free. Part sacred circle, part dance party, Qoya is a unique journey into the experience of resonance, so you leave class having a deeper sense of trust in the wisdom of your body.

Like all embodied movement, you cannot do Qoya wrong, and when it feels right in your body, know you are receiving potent medicine. Maybe you want to slow down and drop into the innate power and sensuality in your hips? If your dance was a prayer, how would you lift your arms to the sky? Can you feel into any resistance and meet it with an open heart? You may notice during class a shift from just “going through the motions” to fully savoring life as awesome and sacred. With a fun and varied playlist, and big-hearted teachers, you are bound to enjoy the ride!

Welcome Goddess is where modern-day embodiment practices meet the ancient feminine arts. Proudly serving Denver, Boulder, and beyond, Welcome Goddess offers a wide array of classes and workshops in dance and movement, meditation, breathwork, trauma release, art, women’s circles, and more.

Welcome Goddess is a safe space for women to feel, heal, gather, and create. We welcome all gender identities – including men – to join us for select classes and workshops.

We bring together people of all ages to foster self-discovery, deep connection, and community. We specialize in intimate, in-person experiences that help you tune out the opinions, expectations, and obligations of the outer world and begin to hear your inner truth.
