About this event

Join us for our cozy, comfortable Coffee Klatch, where you can connect with other queer men in an inviting and casual setting. Bring your smiles, lightheartedness, and desire to forge meaningful new friendships. Whether you come solo or with friends, you're guaranteed to have a memorable experience sipping coffee or tea, snacking, and engaging in interesting conversation. Treat yourself to pastries and snacks while sipping a variety of great coffee & tea beverages. Depending on space availability & weather, we'll gather in the event space, main room,or outside, creating a charming ambiance for you to unwind and find support from your community. You can always find us because we wear nametags & our host has a clipboard & Q-Mob postcards & business cards. Don't miss out on this engaging, fun, and supportive social event! We can't wait to see you!

DONATE OR BECOME A MONTHLY SUSTAINING MEMBER: Please donate $10-$20 either online or as cash or check made out to "BSCC" to help assure Q-MoB can continue to offer more than 20 activities & multiple resources & services to rural queer men all over the region. If you attend 2 or more Q-MoB events/month or just want to support us in a more regular way, please become a monthly sustaining donor member. By donating $25, $50, $75, or $100/month you can help to sustain the incredible variety of activities, services, and resources Q-MoB provides and assure all of these activities are accessible to men regardless of their age, income, or ability, and best of all you can avoid having to donate at each and every event you attend. Monthly Sustaining Members pay only once a month and then can attend all our activities with no further donation.

SEEKING INTERGENERATIONAL CO-HOSTS: Q-MoB is looking for several intergenerational co-hosts for the monthly Queer Men's Coffee Klatch at Wylde. Hosts get to know everybody, welcome people, invite them to wear a nametag, have people fill out the attendance form, facilitate an opening circle where everyone is encouraged to briefly introduce themselves, welcome newcomers & make sure they get included, make announcements about upcoming Q-MoB activities, & encouage participants to host activities in Northwest CT like hikes, potlucks, game nights, arts/culture activities, etc., & make sure the community table is cleaned up at the end. Please SEND US A NOTE if you want to learn more about co-hosting this or any of our Coffee Klatches:

8 QUEER MEN'S COFFEE KLATCHES PER MONTH: To foster community close to where you live, Q-MoB offers 8 Coffee Klatches in towns throughout the Greater Berkshire Region. Click on the links below to learn more or register for any of them; all coffee klatches are 10:30am-12:30pm:

W e also offer about 20 other activities per month, including potlucks & other social activities, recreation/wellness activities, and arts/culture activities, which you can learn about on the Q-MOB Activities Schedule.

WEATHER: Generally we will only cancel if there is a Winter Weather Advisory that recommends people not drive or if the Coffee House lets us know they need to close. We ask all registrants to let us know your cell phone number so that if in the unlikely event there is an unexpected weather emergency that forces us to cancel, we can inform you promptly. Generally the Town is efficient at plowing & salting, so small amounts of snow will not affect us.

CARPOOLING/RIDE-SHARE: If you need a ride or are open to carpooling, please indicate that when you are registering, & our ride coordinator will try to match you with people nearby who are interested in carpooling or offering rides.

HOW TO REACH US THE DAY OF THE EVENT: I f on the day of the event you cannot join us or have trouble finding the group, please text the co-hosts Ron at 914-625-5043 or Rick at 510-290-1549
