The workshops we offer help to educate the community and allow a platform for those with questions about mental health and healthier ways to manage.

July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month! 
 Mental Health statics regarding minority individuals is staggering and unfortunate. Research shows 1 out of 5 Americans are impacted by a mental illness in a given year and African Americans are 20% more likely to experience a mental health illness compared to the remaining population. 
Join me in learning more from a panel of clinical experts while enjoying an amazing brunch. Topics include local Connecticut resources, trauma, substance abuse, black and Hispanic disparities, mental health in colleges, and tips to a well-balanced life.
