Eardrums and Easels: Exploration of Synesthesia in Sound & Visual Art w/ Shannon Harris and Jewel Hale

In this immersive workshop, participants will explore the fascinating world of synesthesia, where one sense evokes experiences in another. They will engage with three curated soundscape channels, each filled with unique auditory textures and melodies. As they listen, participants will be inspired to create their own visual interpretations of the sounds. Whether they focus on a single soundscape or sample all three, each choice offers a rich and rewarding experience. This workshop aims to enhance cognitive functioning while promoting wellness and creativity. Through this journey, participants will find an effective way to reduce stress and elevate their mood, celebrating the beautiful connection between auditory and visual experiences.
