This 3-day, hands-on, instructor-led course will be held in our technology center in Portland, Oregon.

In this course, you’ll learn the more advanced aspects of Python, a tool for developing custom software tools, applications, web services, and cloud applications. You will learn about object-oriented programming patterns, development of graphical user interfaces, data management, threading, unit testing, and creating and installing packages and executable applications. Prerequisite Course: Python Programming: Introduction or equivalent experience.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Kinetic is located just off I-5's Carman Drive exit in SW Portland, a 10 minute drive from downtown. FREE parking. Go to kinetictraining.com/customer_resources/locations.asp for driving instructions and a map of the area.

What can I bring into the event?

You do not need to bring anything. Computers are provided in the classroom as well as participant course manuals.

When should I arrvive, what can I expect the day of class, are there refreshments?

Please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to class to check in and get situated in your classroom. Starbucks coffee, tea, juice and sodas will be available throughout the day. Snacks will be provided before class and at breaks. Restaurant maps are available to help you plan your lunch break. If you prefer to bring your lunch, a refrigerator is available as well as a place to eat and relax. Dress is casual and comfortable to allow for the optimum learning environment. Please bring a jacket or sweater as room temperatures may vary.
