Python in Excel Demo Day

Python in Excel Demo Day

Online event
Overview

Hands-on demos showing how Python in Excel can automate analysis, build visuals, and extend what spreadsheets can do.

Python in Excel Demo Day is a short live session for professionals who actively use Excel and want to extend their analytical workflows with Python directly inside the spreadsheet.

The goal is to show how Python in Excel can help automate repetitive analysis, create more advanced visualizations, and handle analytical tasks that are difficult or time-consuming with formulas alone.

This is not a full Python course. It’s a practical look at how Python fits into modern Excel workflows, where it adds value, and how analysts are using it today without leaving Excel.

What we’ll cover

We’ll walk through several hands-on examples showing how Python in Excel can be applied to real analytical work:

  • Using Python to summarize and analyze datasets beyond standard Excel formulas
  • Building visualizations and charts that are difficult to create with native Excel tools
  • Automating repetitive analytical tasks with pandas and Python code inside Excel
  • Combining Excel’s flexibility with Python’s analytical capabilities for more scalable workflows

The focus is not just on writing code, but understanding where Python meaningfully improves Excel workflows and when it’s worth using.

What this session is (and isn’t)

✔ Practical demonstrations inside real Excel workbooks
✔ A preview of how I approach modern analytics training
✔ Focused on analytical workflows, automation, and scalable reporting

✖ Not a full Python programming course
✖ Not a generic AI webinar
✖ Not a passive “watch and forget” session

Who this is designed for

This session is for people who already use Excel professionally and are curious about what Python adds to the workflow.

It will be especially useful if you’ve run into things like:

  • repetitive analysis that takes too long manually
  • Excel visualizations that feel limiting
  • datasets that are becoming harder to manage with formulas alone
  • workflows that need more automation or flexibility

Typical attendees include:

  • financial and operational analysts
  • Excel power users
  • reporting and analytics professionals
  • teams exploring modern Excel capabilities

This session is probably not a fit if:

  • you’re brand new to Excel
  • you’re looking for a deep Python programming bootcamp
  • you mainly use Excel for occasional personal tasks
  • you’re casually browsing free webinars without a specific workflow problem in mind

Registration notes

To keep the session focused and useful:

  • Please register using your real name
  • Work email preferred where possible
  • Duplicate or placeholder registrations may be removed
  • Priority is given to attendees using Excel in a professional context

Toward the end, I’ll briefly explain how I work with individuals and organizations looking to modernize their Excel and analytics workflows.

If you already work in Excel and want to understand where Python can realistically make your work faster, more scalable, and more analytical, you’ll likely get value from this session.
