Python is an open source programming language that is used for creating web applications, web content, mathematics and system scripting. In this course you will learn how python code works and be given time to practice. Prior coding knowledge is not necessary for this introductory class. Key takeaways will include a working knowledge of variables, loops, conditional arguments and much more.This class is for beginners but assumes you have a basic understanding of computer skills -- basically, if you can use a word processor or surf the web, you can learn Python!Computers will be provided for this class.Toronto Public Library is committed to accessibility.
