Join Upstate Art & Crafts for a fun-filled pet themed class of needle felting at Active Ingredient in Malta, NY! Get ready to unleash your creativity and learn the art of needle felting from Matt and Kyra Donato, while enjoying a deliciously crafted beer (or two). In this 2 hour guided class, you will receive a box of materials and learn the basics of needle felting, while creating a cat or dog (your choice!).

Class includes:

  • 2 hour guided lesson for basic needle felting
  • All materials required to create a dog / cat (as pictured below); feel free to take your box of materials with you to continue!
  • Additional resources for further learning
  • Brewery will be open and beers are available for purchase

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced felter, this event is perfect for everyone!

At Upstate Art & Crafts, we believe art and a good craft beer are best enjoyed together. We love sharing and fostering creativity with others, while frequenting our local brewing establishments. We hope our classes will ease stress, spark an idea, or inspire an attendee to try something new!

**This class is geared toward adults, children under the age of 16 are not permitted. Please select cat or dog design, and main color at check out!

Is beer included in the cost of the ticket?

Ticket includes 2hr needle felting class and all associated materials - beer purchases can be made at the bar and are the responsibility of the attendee.

Are children allowed at the event?

This class is geared for adults, children under the age of 16 will not be permitted and should not register for this event.

What is your refund policy?

We will accept refunds up to 72 hours prior to the event. For refunds, please reach out to hello@upstateartandcrafts.com

Is food available for purchase?

Yes, Active Ingredient has a full menu (we recommend the chicken sandwhich or shrimp tacos!).
