PURPOSE DRIVEN EDUCATORS CONFERENCE

Deon Pennyman is a native of Jackson, Georgia, a certified Life Coach, and a licensed ordained Minister. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at the age of twelve years old. Her mother, along with her grandparents, raised her in the church to serve Christ wholeheartedly and thrive with adversities. Deon has served as an educator for seven years, two years in Henry County and five years in Clayton County. The highest degree that she obtained is an Educational Specialist in Leadership as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, and a Master of Public Health.As a firm believer in the word of God and a soul-seeker for the Kingdom of God, Deon is known for her desire to reach the heart of God’s people by expressing the love of God.  Being an educator, she understands that parents must have a voice to better serve their child.  As a child who struggled academically, Deon recognized there is a need for parents and schools to close the gap of academic achievement.  Deon is forever grateful for a mom that pushed her to study hard and to obtain good grades.  She no longer wants to sit on the side lines with the mentality that education has always been this way and will forever be.  Deon will be the catalyst for change stating, “Together we can make anything possible.”Deon is a faithful member of Tabernacle of Praise Church International, a vibrant faith community in McDonough, GA led by Pastor T.J. and Lady Shunnae McBride.  She and her loving husband, Lynn, have been married since 2008.
