Synopsis
Filmed almost entirely in Minnesota, Prince's feature film debut follows "The Kid" as he attempts to escape a tumultuous home life through music. Campy, delirious, transcendent, and outrageous, there's no denying The Purple One's genius as a musician and entertainer, immortalized here in the concert scenes filmed at First Avenue.
