The mandateof The Al Purdy A-Frame Association is to educate and increase the public's understanding and appreciation of Canadian poetry and literature; to educate and increase the public's understanding of the arts generally by offering courses, seminars, retreats and workshops relating to writing and to provide performances of an artistic nature.

The Al Purdy A-Frame Association

<P>Purdy Drinks is an annual fundraiser held for the Al Purdy A-Frame, a residence for writers that used to be the home of Al & Eurithe Purdy, in Prince Edward County.  Each year, the A-Frame hosts between 4-6 writers working on individual projects.  </P>
<P>This year Purdy Drinks features four stellar poets: Damian Rogers, Karen Solie, Jeff Latosik, and Laura Clarke.  Plus a musical guest yet to be announced. </P>
