Pupsburgh

Formed by Downtown businesses, professionals, civic organizations, foundations, and residents, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP) is a non-profit community development organization that develops and implements innovative programs and initiatives to enhance the Downtown neighborhood, cultivate a vibrant residential population, and stimulate a diverse retail community.

Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership

The perfect lunchtime activity to step away from your desk and support local animal shelters and pet resources in the heart of downtown.

Mellon Square

Thanks to the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership’s Placemaking Grant, made possible by Citizens, we’re bringing some serious puppy love to the heart of Downtown.Join in on one of our THREE pet-friendly events taking over Mellon Square through September. Pupsburgh is dedicated to our four-legged friends—and the people who love them— through a showcase of pet-focused resources and vendors. Whether you’re a longtime pet parent or just dreaming of your future furry companion, this is the place to be! 🐾Enjoy a free outdoor event featuring food trucks, live music, and all the pet resources you didn’t know you needed, from treats and toys to wellness services and training tips. And the best part? You just might meet your new best friend. Local shelters will be on-site with adoption-ready pups looking for a forever home. 🐶
