Our workshop involves sharp objects and multi-step instructions aimed at adults. If you have a younger crafter (over 15 years old) and can be an actively participating co-crafting guardian, please get in touch with boopart00@gmail.com, and we will consider this on a case-by-case basis.

We strongly advise people to pre-book their workshop. The amount of materials provided is specific to the online headcount.

Are puppeteering lessons included in the workshop?

Yes , puppetry techniques are demoed throughout the workshop. For a short puppetry demo keep an eye out for the "mini masterclass" add on.

What kind of puppets do we make?

Professional-quality, moving-mouth hand puppets like the kind you have seen on TV
They are suitable for video, performance, boring video calls, TikToks, or goofing around with friends.

But what if I am really bad at making things?

Don't worry, the instructor will show you step by step how to make your puppet. If you feel like you arent "creative" but want to try this is the workshop for you. Everyone walks away felling like a winner.

Yes, all materials are provided.

Can I bring my own puppet making materials?

Accepted Answer

If you want to bring along a small item to accessorize your puppet, a bow, a barette, a pin on a nametag, etc. we can probably work that in but we wont have time ot incorperate outside crafting materials.

Are sharp tools or glue used?

Yes,  sewing needles, blades, and hot glue are used. However, safe usage of all items is taught.

Can I make more than one?

There is usually only enough time to make one during the workshop. However, if you are interested in purchasing a kit of puppet-making supplies, you can discuss that with the instructor.
