Join us on Wednesday, April 5, for a puppet and mask making workshop with Illustrator and Designer, Wesley Hall! Wesley will be traveling all the way from Nashville, TN, to share his work and show us how he makes his cardboard creatures and gets inspiration for his comic, Pizza Dad!

You might remember and recognize Wesley from the RMCAD podcast, Remotely Creative. Wesley is a designer, illustrator, cardboard creature creator, webcomic author, and animator with 20K+ followers on Instagram. He’s also a master of e-mail marketing, working as a CRM Technical Producer at Smile Direct Club. On top of that, he also helped shape our Illustrative Design program.

Supply List:

Cardboard
Box Cutter (for the big cuts)
Scissors or an Exacto Knife (for the small cuts)
Hot Glue Gun, Tacky Glue, or Elmer's Glue (all will work, but a hot glue gun does it fastest and easiest)
Mod Podge (Optional)
Paint (I usually use Acrylic, but Tempera or even Craft paint can work)
Brushes (to paint with)
Markers (I like to use them to decorate on top of the paint, but you can also use crayons, sharpies, pencils/whatever here)
Craft Tape or Masking Tape (optional)
