Pumpkinvine Bike Ride

Join us for the 23rd annual Pumpkinvine Bike Ride on Saturday, June 15!

Enjoy the fresh air and mid-June sun on a ride through Northern Indiana's rolling farmland. This ride offers 24, 37, 50 and100-mile routes. All routes are SAG supported at intervals of 15 miles or less, offering food and drink to ride participants. The Shipshewana SAG will feature a catered hot meal at its beautiful trailhead. All routes meet back in Goshen for an locally made icecream and an assortment of delicious pies.

Rider check-in begins at 7 a.m.* at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds, Goshen.

Want to make it a weekend? Check out out Thresher's Dinner Ride on Friday June, 14 at 4:30 p.m. This is a 20-mile ride to The Carriage House where you will be served a delicious, authentic meal at an Amish home. Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under.

• Space is limited to 100, so register early to secure your seat at the table.
• Minimum ride pace will be set at approximately 10 mph.

The Pumpkinvine Bike Ride is the Friends of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail's biggest fundraising event of the year. All proceeds support the development and maintenance of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail.

Ride Details

Pricing: $45-Early Bird rate, $65-beginning May 20, Children under 14 ride free

Routes:

• 24-mile route: Multi-use trail, with 2% grade most of the way. Check-in from 8 a.m. - 9: 30 a.m.
• 37-mile route: Multi-use trail, with 2% grade most of the way. Check-in from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.
• 50-mile route: ~40% multi-use trail, ~60% country roads, mostly flat with some rolling hills. Check-in from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.
• 100-mile route: ~85% on county roads. 1,435 ft of elevation gain. Check-in from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.
• Please note that routes and total milage are subject to change through June 12 based on feedback and coordination with our local highway departments.
• SAG support provided for all routes. See SAG times in the "agenda" tab and plan your start and end times accordingly.
