Pumpkin Centrepiece Workshop at Emmie Lou’s

Join us at Emmie Lou’s Floristry Design in beautiful Sugnall, Staffordshire, for a relaxed two-hour seasonal floristry workshop creating your very own fresh-flower pumpkin centrepiece.

Perfect for complete beginners as well as flower lovers, this is a chance to switch off, get creative and enjoy a couple of hours surrounded by gorgeous seasonal flowers and foliage. Come with friends for an autumn girls’ night, bring your mum or daughter, or come along on your own — you’ll be very welcome.

What happens during the workshop?

When you arrive, we’ll get settled with tea, coffee and something sweet before I introduce you to the flowers, foliage and materials we’ll be working with.

I’ll demonstrate how to prepare your pumpkin and flowers before taking you through the design step by step. You’ll learn how to create shape and balance, arrange your flowers and foliage, and add those finishing touches that make your centrepiece feel professionally designed.

There’s no pressure to make yours identical to mine — I want you to put your own personality into your arrangement.

We’ll work at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time for questions, chatting and a cuppa. By the end of the two hours, you’ll leave with a beautiful fresh-flower pumpkin centrepiece made entirely by you, ready to display at home.

Your £45 ticket includes: your pumpkin, fresh seasonal flowers and foliage, all floristry materials, full step-by-step tuition, refreshments and your finished arrangement to take home.

No previous floristry experience is needed.

📍 Getting to Emmie Lou’s

The workshop takes place at Emmie Lou’s Floristry Design, Sugnall, Staffordshire, in a lovely rural setting just outside Eccleshall.

Despite its countryside location, Sugnall is easily accessible from Eccleshall, Stafford, Stone, Newport, Market Drayton, Newcastle-under-Lyme and surrounding areas, making it a lovely destination for an autumn afternoon or evening out.

If you're travelling from further afield, I'd recommend coming by car because of the rural location. Please allow a little extra time for country roads and aim to arrive around 10 minutes before your workshop begins, so we can get everyone settled and start together.
