Pulp & Paper Prerequisites:

Requirement 6: Make a list of 15 pulp or paper products found in your home. Share examples of 10 such products with your counselor. Scouts must create their hand written list ahead of time and bring their list of paper products to class with them, we will share together during the badge class.

Requirement 7E:

(E) Using books, magazines, your local library, the internet (with your parent’s

permission), and any other suitable research tool, find out how paper products

are developed. Find out what role research and development play in the

papermaking industry. Share what you learn with your counselor.

How to complete this: Take notes about how research and development play a crucial role in the papermaking industry from books, magazines, your local library, or the internet (with your parent/guardians approval). Notes MUST be hand written and completed before class, bring them in and we’ll discuss them all together.

required for this profession. Discuss this with your counselor, and explain

why this profession might interest you.
