Southern Research Society is not another ghost hunting team. We are true researchers of the paranormal, meaning parallel normal, alter normal; the unexplainable and unknown. We don’t assume that everything that goes bump in the night is a human spirit, there could be an earthly explanation for the phenomena, or it could be something else altogether. We conduct our research from all aspects and consider all possible causes for the activity earthly or otherwise. Located in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, we are a team of diverse highly educated professionals from all walks of life. Our mission is to seek the truth of who or what haunts our world, we search for explanations to the mysterious and the macabre. Our team is comprised of investigators, psychic mediums, Spiritualist Investigators, practitioners of ancient rites and rituals, ufology and cryptid enthusiasts, photographic analysts, scientific researchers, and a historian. We have developed methods that only our team uses when conducting research, i.e. “The King Method”. We have created experiments with a basis on works of researchers such as Nikolai Tesla, and his research on resonant frequencies to see if that impacts the environment and jumpstarts paranormal phenomena. Our unique and unparalleled methods and blending of skill sets allow us to layer experiments; often providing secondary and tertiary validations. We separate the facts from folklore in an attempt to validate or debunk the activity based on actual historical accounts. We seek the truth, we hunt answers, not just ghosts, we are the Southern Research Society, and we are unlike any other team out there!

SRS Paranormal conducts both private and public investigations at famous haunted locations and investigates other supernatural occurrences, as well as, residential casework for those being troubled by their experiences . We work directly with locations to help raise funds and preserve history for future generations. SRS also hosts events , workshops and attends para cons.
