Join the Washington State Secretary of Health and the U.S. Surgeon General as they discuss the importance of social connection in addressing the Epidemic of Loneliness. This in-person event will be hosted at Red Eagle Soaring, Native Youth Theater, a Seattle based non-profit serving urban American Indian and Alaska Native youth through cultural connection and storytelling. This is a unique opportunity to hear from national leaders on this critical public health priority and visit with local non-profits offering a promising approach for social connection. This event is invitation only, attendees must pre-register. Please note - this event will be filmed as part of the Public Health Connects series produced by the Washington State Department of Health. Members of the audience may be included in the filming.
