About this event

Welcome to Craft Night! Your RSVP here is much appreciated, but is not required.

Expect the same vibes as all NYC Resistor events, with the added safety of a masks-required environment.

We encourage everyone to bring their own (good) mask and will have some available to hand out to anyone who needs it. We require everyone to wear a mask during their time at the event (yes, you can take sips or bites to stay hydrated and fed!). It is critical that anyone not feeling well skips the night out of respect for our community -- you can always join us when you're back to 100%. These events are intended to be a safe as possible and can only continue with community support.

Come on out, bring your freinds, and stay safe out there!

NYC Resistor is open to the public for Craft Nights every Monday, Thursday, and on the first Friday and third Wednesday of every month from 6:30-9:30 PM! Come and bring your current crafting project and work on it with other artists, crafters, and makers of all kinds. Resistors do everything from costumes to electronics to visual arts to woodworking; people and crafting projects of all sorts are enthusiastically welcome. We are a proactively inclusive space, and prioritize creating opportunities for the whole community to engage with our events, across all identities of race, creed, ethnicity, age, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical appearance, and ability; please read our Code of Conduct to familiarize yourself with our community's values before attending.

Organized by

NYC Resistor is a hacker collective with a shared space located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. We meet regularly to share knowledge, hack on projects together, and build community. Our interests range from laser-cutting to knitting, and programming to pop-up books.

All NYC Resistor events are strictly 18+, and attendees are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct, which can be found at https://www.nycresistor.com/participate/.
