*or feel some cosmic connection
In the heart of Crossroads, there stood Herfy’s—a place where memories were forged over fizzy pops, juicy Herfy Burgers, and golden fries. We gathered there - a motley crew of muscle car enthusiasts, station wagon riders, and everyone in between. Our conversations echoed with laughter, and we admired each other’s wheels, from sleek muscle cars to trusty mom-mobiles.
Herfy’s, alas, is no more. But fear not, Totems! The time has come for The Return of The Totems! Join us for the Pub Night and Car Show at Watts Brewing Company (15510 Redmond-Woodinville Rd NE, #E110 in Woodinville). It all takes place on Friday, August 2 starting at 6:00 pm.
Let’s relive those days. Dust off your fun cars, rev up your motorcycles, or roll in with your RVs. Polish them to a shine, strike a pose, and reminisce. Pizza and beers await, and perhaps a tear or two as we revisit our youth.
For those who can’t join in person, fear not! Capture the moments—snap countless photos for our Instagram and Facebook pages. Maybe even a Facetime call will bridge the gap.
Watts Brewing Company in Woodinville provides ample parking. Look out for the roped-off area—the domain of the “Car/Motorcycle Showoffs.” Admire their gleaming chrome and roaring engines.
Your ticket is your golden key. In addition to entry to the festivities, you'll receive two Watts Brewery tokens good for handcrafted brews (or the best Root Beer on the Planet). If you're not thirsty but hunger for a delicious Brat, Pretzel or other tavern fare, you tokens work for that too. The ticket you receive at the door is redeemable for a huge, delicious slice of pizza.
And don't miss out on the thrilling 50/50 raffle—bring cash and channel your inner winner!
Most importantly, reconnect with old classmates, share stories, and catch up.
Don’t forget: wristbands await at the door. Secure yours by snagging a ticket.
Let’s make this reunion unforgettable!
Frequently asked questions
This is a Pub Night First, and the cars or motorcycles are just for fun. The night will be a casual tavern night with plenty of spots to sit and converse. There will be some cool cars/bikes coming and it's a great conversation starter. No Big Kid Toys; No Problemo...
Entry to the event, 2 tokens (use at the pub for beverages, pretzels, Ice cream sundae, craft root beer) and 1 ticket redeemable for a huge slice of pizza.
No, you can drink Beer. Evan Watts has brewed a delicious Non-Alcoholic Beer, as well as a Fantastic ROOTBEER, and we'll have some soft-drink options and good ol' H2O.
Heck no! Find Dan, or Greg, or Jamie and we'll get an Uber for you, no charge.
Of course you can, if there's any connection to Sammamish and you'd like to attend, please do. If you did not attend Sammamish and won the 50/50, it would be a nice gesture to donate your winnings back to the event.....Hahahahahahahah!
Heck yeah! As long as you were a Totem, you are always welcome to our Friday Pub night.
We all remember you, but you are on your own figuring out who all these dashing and beautiful young people are.
Heck yeah! If you have Sammamish Memorabilia, text Greg, Dan, or Jamie and we'll get you in early to display your cool stuff. *We cannot be responsible for items though.
Yes! But you should be polite, no fight songs besides.. Sammamish's fight song! And it would be cool if brought your cool car or bike, but not necessary.
There is room to park RV's but please ask for parking directions so we can keep them together for showing in a safe place.
Up until the cops come and tell you to go. Sorry, no overnight parking is allowed.
As much as we all love dogs, the revving of internal combustion engines is way too stressful for our fine four-legged friends, better to leave them home watching Dog TV (it's a real thing).
Yes, the pub is reserved for us, but cash works at the pub as well and if you decide to buy the house a drink; Visa, Mastercard and American Express work too.
NO, NO, NO, NO, NO. The music will be from our school years approximately 1970-1974.
NO, heck no, you should go to them all. But if you can only attend one, The Big Event is just for the Sammamish Class of 1974, so that's where you should go. We'll miss you here, but see you the next night!
Great Question! A lot of your classmates have joined together to put on the events but we could still use your help with simple but very fun tasks, like decorations, and theme building We need and would love your help deciding: Inquiries to: sammamishreunion74@gmail.com
Please send anything that brings has any connection to The Class of 1974 to Sammamishreunion74@gmail.com.
Uli's Brats, Kaffeklatsch Pretzels, Panini Sandwiches, Huge pizza slices.
You can give it to that person you know needs another slice! You could punch a hole in it, get some yarn, and make a nice memento of the evening. You could fold it into a very small but colorful "ticket airplane". You could frame it, I bet it will be a very rare collectible.
