Psychedelic Integration Group with Dr. Neal Goldsmith
Please join the Brooklyn Psychedelic Society on Thursday 5/25 for our very first psychedelic Integration Group, facilitated by Dr. Neal Goldsmith at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture (53 Prospect Park West in Park Slope)!
We have all had experiences, such as the loss of a job, or the end of a relationship, that bring about radical shifts in how we live our day-to-day lives. In our culture, friends and family are readily available to help us reorient successfully after such a life event, but this is still not the case with a powerful psychedelic/entheogenic experience. It's all-too-common for people to keep these experiences inside, in fear of being regarded as crazy, or a drug-user. Keeping psychedelic insights secret - and not cultivating them by sharing them with others - diminishes their transformative potential. This is where psychedelic integration sessions can help. Sharing these experiences among like-minded people can provide an opportunity for integration into one's daily life - enabling insights to sink roots that can result in deep and sustainable change.
We our honored to have our integration group facilitated by Neal M. Goldsmith, Ph.D., social psychologist, licensed psychotherapist, public speaker and author of Psychedelic Healing: The Promise of Entheogens for Psychotherapy and Spiritual Development. Dr. Goldsmith has extensive experience working with individuals seeking to fully benefit from and integrate the lessons learned during psychedelic experiences. His expertise will be key in bringing about a safe and fruitful session for everyone.
