About this event

  • 6 hours 30 minutes

In this training, we will provide best practices for ethical decision-making, guiding principles, and pathways to support you in your PRSS role. Today, Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS) are faced with more responsibilities than ever, which means they are also faced with increasingly complex ethical decisions that are impacted by culture, personal and professional values, and the contexts in which they and those they serve (peers) inhabit.

Best practices for ethical decision-making helps us to make informed decisions that can justify next steps of actions which can impact the peer’s person-centered care.

The objective of this training is to review current decision-making and develop and implement new models that address culture, values, and context and support PRSS professional development.

**This training is for Nevada PRSS for Recertification Only!!
