The Providence Pointe neighborhood and local non-profit TreesCharlotte are partnering up to offer $10 trees to neighborhood residents! On the morning of Dec. 7 at the Providence Pointe Club House, you&#x27;re invited to enjoy donuts and coffee, talk to tree experts about the right trees for your yard, take a 15- minute tree-planting clinic and bring home up to 3 trees! This is a wonderful way to add beauty to Providence Pointe and make Charlotte a healthier place to live. Date: Saturday, Dec. 7Time: 8:30-9:30 a.m.Location: Providence Pointe Club House - 15440 Prescott Hill Ave, Charlotte, NC 28277About the trees: 5-10 feet tall, 1-inch caliper, aged 2-4 years old, potted in 7-gallon containers. Trees would retail for $75-$150. Trees are a mix of natives and trees known to thrive here. A mix of species (TBD) will be offered.Each registered household can take home up to 3 trees and 3 bags of mulch.Your cost: $10 per tree, up to 3 trees/household. Payments accepted online only.Tree clinic: Every recipient must attend a tree- planting clinic and sign a stewardship pledge the morning of the event. Registration: Registration is required. If you register, you are expected to pick up trees the morning of Dec. 7 or arrange for somebody to pick them up for you. Registration does not guarantee species; all trees are first-come, first-served. Registration ends Dec. 3.
