We'll cover pest prevention strategies such as protecting brassicas from flea beetles using row cover, along with the benefits of proper spacing to improve airflow and reduce disease. You'll also learn how mulching and composting support soil moisture and plant health, and how to safely use fertilizers, including fish fertilizer—when to apply it after transplanting and how much to use to avoid burning plants.
