Proposition 1 Groundwater Grant Program – Round 2 Solicitation Workshop 

State Water Resources Control Board

<A HREF="http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/grants_loans/proposition1.shtml" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Proposition 1</A> was passed by voters in November 2014 and provided $900 million for a Groundwater Sustainability Program (<A HREF="http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/grants_loans/gw_funding/docs/prop1_law.pdf" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Assembly Bill 1471, Chapter 10</A>). The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) will administer $800 million to prevent and cleanup contamination of groundwater that serves (or has served) as a source of drinking water. The funds are available as grants.  The State Water Board is conducting public workshops for Proposition 1 Groundwater Grant Program Round 2 solicitations.  State Water Board is revising the application process for Round 2.  Applicants pursuing funding through the Proposition 1 Groundwater Sustainability Program (and not SCAP) should no longer utilize the existing “Groundwater Quality Funding Programs - Pre Application” RFP.  Additional details and process to apply would be provided in the Public Workshops and/or posted on the Proposition 1 Groundwater Grant Program webpage.
