SPEAKER BIO

Kirste Webb, CF APMP Fellow, has more than 30 years’ experience in business development, capture management, and proposal development. Currently, she is Vice President of Business Development with Information International Associates (IIa), a woman-owned business specializing in data center management, cybersecurity, and analysis and information management. Ms. Webb is also the Executive Director for Visionary Center for Sustainable Communities (VCSC), an international non-profit organization, providing mentoring and coaching for small businesses as well education and outreach to inspire the next generation to consider careers in industries where there are very significant skills gaps, such as manufacturing. In this role, she serves as a mentor/counselor with the Procurement Technical Assistance Center in East Tennessee, offering training and counseling for small businesses seeking to do work with the Federal government. In addition, she continues to provide consulting services for small businesses, including Visionary Solutions, a small minority business enterprise specializing in transportation, manufacturing, and waste-to-energy. Previously, she was Proposal Director with Tetra Tech EC, Inc., where she lead many small business mentor-protégé pursuits, guiding and advising their small business proteges on the business development process. It is this breadth of experience that provides Ms. Webb a unique perspective on what it takes for small businesses to develop proposals.

Ms. Webb holds a B.S. in Business Management and an MBA, Marketing, and a B.S., Marketing from the University of Phoenix, and she is a Fellow with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
