The Indigenous Peoples Institute (IPI) and its supporters affirm the sovereignty of Native American/Alaskan Native/First Nations/Urban Native/Indigenous peoples and their communities through programming that amplifies Indigenous voices and concerns. We recognize the vital importance of Indigenous youth and elders in all our endeavors and the significance of creating spaces to celebrate and honor the cultural practices of all Indigenous peoples.

"Promised Land is an award-winning social justice documentary that follows two tribes in the Pacific Northwest: the Duwamish and the Chinook, as they fight for the restoration of treaty rights they've long been denied.
