Project, Pedagogy & Play is back—bigger, bolder, and more connected than ever. This year, we’re welcoming 300+ educators and innovators to a larger venue designed to spark meaningful conversations, hands-on learning, and real collaboration.

This is an opportunity to explore learner-centered education, project-based learning, and the power of play alongside like-minded educators from across district schools, public charter schools, private schools, and higher education.

THURSDAY (OPTIONAL): Tour innovative schools in and around the Twin Cities, then join us for food, drinks, and pinball at Litt Pinball Bar in downtown Minneapolis!

FRIDAY (ACTUAL CONFERENCE): Hosted at the Machine Shop in downtown Minneapolis along the Mississippi River, the event is a collaboration of NWPHS, Terra Nova, and Headrush Learning.

Travel Info

• MSP is the closest airport (20 mins drive) to the hotel + conference venue.
• Friday will be held at the Machine Shop, 24 minute drive from the airport. (MSP) Venue is a 7 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the hotel.
• We have hotel rooms reserved Thursday and Friday nights, those who stay Friday are invited to an informal dinner and hang after program closeout :)

Rooms are available at Minneapolis Marriott City Center, 30 S 7th St, Minneapolis, MN 55402. The hotel is a 30 minute walk, 6 minute drive, or 18 minute bus ride from the conference venue.

School Tour Details

• We recommend coming into town at or before Thursday (5/8) by 8 am. The first school tour starts at 9:30 am.
• Some car pooling may be available for those arriving early, but transportation will be otherwise assumed on your own to travel to and from the locations.
• The first school tour is 45 miles (54 mins) drive from downtown Minneapolis.
