Free Professional Development Event: The types, causes, triggers, patterns, and consequences of perfectionism.

Armerding Center for Music and Arts

A multifaceted topic affecting students’ social and emotional lives in many unexpected ways. Kathy Green graduated from Wheaton College (BME), and University of Connecticut (MA Ed. Psych./Gifted Ed.). She is a Pre-K-12 educator, adjunct lecturer (U of Iowa), Educational Liaison for the Wheaton College Artist Series, oboe instructor, and a perfectionist.In this workshop on Perfectionism, participants will learn about the types, causes, triggers, patterns, and consequences of perfectionism as they relate to school, interactions, relationships, and social and emotional learning. Additionally, participants will engage with other educators and education students through books and techniques they can immediately apply to the perfectionists around them.
