Event description
This workshop aims to extend art and design education in Aotearoa through collaboration.

About this Event

Calling all educators, researchers, practitioners and students of design! This workshop by Project Make, hosted by Objectspace, is an event targeted at extending art and design education in Aotearoa through collaboration.

Project Make is an art and design education platform that aims to champion the role of art and design education in Aotearoa. Through a collection of projects that span multiple disciplines, we encourage folk to make things together. Project Make comprises a small team and a growing group of collaborators who all believe in the significance of design.

This studio session is for existing collaborators and interested parties in order to map out future projects and events. It's an opportunity for students, educators, practitioners and those who support our industries to come together and think about the future of design education in this country.

We will begin by thinking about what we value about design/design education as individuals, before coming together in smaller groups to extend our thoughts into projects.

The aim of the workshop is to establish potential projects for the next 12 months, the order in which they will be developed, and the collaborators for each project.

Refreshments will be provided by our pals at Six Barrel Soda.
