Project Kappa
A one-day participatory art experience in East Brighton. Arrive curious, follow the instructions and become part of what happens.
Project Kappa is a one-day participatory art experience taking place in East Brighton.
You will arrive without being told exactly what the day contains. Information will be revealed gradually, strangers will become temporary collaborators, and the event will develop through a sequence of instructions, encounters and collective decisions.
This is not a conventional exhibition, workshop or performance. There is no audience in the usual sense: everyone attending becomes part of what happens.
No artistic experience, specialist knowledge or preparation is required. Come with curiosity, comfortable clothing and a willingness to participate without needing to understand the entire plan in advance.
The day will include periods outdoors and a walking section of approximately three miles. Some activities will involve working with other participants, while others may ask you simply to observe, listen, wait or follow an instruction.
Safety, accessibility and consent will never be treated as part of the mystery. Essential practical information will be communicated clearly, and participants may pause, decline an activity or step away at any point.
Further details, including the meeting location and what to bring, will be sent to ticket holders before the event.
Arrive curious. The rest will become apparent.
