Event description

Description

The Philadelphia Regional Noyce Partnership is hosting an intensive day on Project-based Learning! Come out and join other middle and high school STEM educators in learning what makes for successful project-based learning experiences in a place that models project-based learning in their whole curriculum....The Workshop School! We'll look at how to embed engineering design and model creation, the use of mathematical skills and the constructing of evidence-based arguments and solutions into our project-based experiences for our students. What can be more fun than making things, struggling with hard ideas in a supportive community and being able to come up with solutions to real world problems! You'll leave this day excited to implement these ideas in your classroom AND with a small learning community of fellow teachers who will work with you on making your project-based learning experience successful!

Breakfast, lunch and Act 48 credit provided! And of course....we'll have PRIZES!

Workshop details will be provided by December 5, 2016, so check back then!
