WHO THIS CLINIC IS FOR

To attend this clinic, you should be confident on your bike with a solid understanding of basic skills (our Fundamentals and Climb & Descend classes are a great place to start). You must be able to demonstrate a ready/attack position at the beginning of class and have a working knowledge of various kinds of wheel lifts like a front wheel lift, rear wheel lift and level lift.

DESCRIPTION

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

  • Review wheel lift mechanics
  • Manual and bunny hop basics
  • Multiple ways to drop off obstacles
  • Proper landing position and technique for drops of various heights

Maximum 10 students. No matter how you ride your bike, you're about to ride it better!

Start Time: 5:30 pm (please be there at 5:15 pm to allow ample prep time)

Organized by

The Boulder Mountainbike Alliance's mission is to serve as a positive voice for mountain biking in Boulder County, Colorado by improving the trail experience for all users through social rides and events, advocacy, and trail building. Great communities build trails, and great trails build community.

To fulfill this mission, the Boulder Mountainbike Alliance works towards three major goals:• Create a Community of Mountain Bikers• Advocate for Trail Access• Build and Maintain Trails

The Boulder Mountainbike Alliance has a renewed emphasis to increase the number of trails in Boulder city and county, but more importantly, building a community that embraces mountain biking as a viable passive recreational activity that creates community, engages youth & beginners, and builds a new constituency of environmental stewards.

BMA has developed developed community events as part of a strategic initiative to raise both awareness of their good work and much needed resources to fund the heavy lift of advocacy, trail development and outreach programs.
