Are you a Program Manager or Director working in the realm of civic tech?

Join us for our first Program Management & Direction Support Squad meeting where program managers and directors from the Code for All Network will be meeting as a group to talk about challenges and successes in their roles.

Here’s what you need to know:

Why: The purpose of this meeting is for Code for All network members to meet and learn from each other to advance their skills as program managers/directors. It is our first meeting, so another purpose is to kick off the PM&D squad!

What: By the end of this meeting, we hope you’ll leave feeling you’ve learned something that will help you as a program manager/director, or that you feel your contribution to the group has been valuable and helpful for others. We also hope that as we build this community of civic tech program managers/directors, you will feel less alone and more supported in your roles.

Who: In attendance will be staff members who work for Code for All member organizations in the realm of program management and direction. These staff members should want to improve their skills and/or pass on their wisdom to others who work a similar role in civic tech. Members from the Code for All team will be there to facilitate.

Mode: We’ll be meeting on Zoom. You’re welcome to have your camera on or off and can also contribute by sharing your thoughts and questions in the chat. We will be taking collective notes in a shared Google Doc. Code for All will record the session so others who aren’t available can watch it later. The recording will not be shared publicly, only internally with other network members.

When: Wednesday, August 11th at 08:00-09:00 UTC (convert to your time zone here). So far, members who have shown interest in this event are based in Africa, Europe, Japan and Pakistan. Because of this, we’ve chosen a time that fits those time zones. Hopefully, if you're located somewhere else in the world, this time will also work for you!
