About the Course

Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM) is an interactive, activity-based course where students gain a strong understanding of Professional Scrum and the role of the Scrum Master. Through a combination of discussion and exercises, students develop a deep understanding of the underlying principles of Scrum and the Agile mindset while learning the practices applied by successful Scrum Teams. Am I going to be Bored?

No way!! Our classes are small, highly interactive, and feel just like being in a room of colleagues having a discussion. We joke around, keep the mood light, but are all business when it comes to the facts about Scrum and getting you prepared for the assessment. We were first in the Scrum.org virtual Professional Scrum training space and have tons of experience making virtual classes engaging and interesting.

We also give our alumni a unique test preparation tool, which will help you more deeply understand Scrum and thus be more likely to pass the assessment.

What should I expect in class?

Our courses at Responsive Advisors are much more than a static PowerPoint presentation with a monotone instructor. Students learn through a mix of discussion, lecture, and hands-on activities designed to reinforce classroom learning. Afterwards, you’ll feel confident applying what you’ve learned in the workplace.

What else do I get with your class?

All participants completing the Professional Scrum Master course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. PSM class participants who attempt the PSM I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

You are also entitled to a discount on the PSM II assessment once passing PSM I.

We will give you plenty of study materials to help you prepare, and even give you continuing access to our Professional Scrum Trainers after the course is over. You’ve got this! In addition, you also get access to our exclusive alumni group where you can share tips, exchange real world ideas and chat with the trainers too! It's also a great way to hear about our upcoming alumni events.

Robert Pieper is the founder and Principal Consultant of Responsive Advisors. He's developed a strong ability to communicate difficult-to-grasp ideas in easy metaphors in his career. Robb has been a software developer, Scrum Master, Product Owner, consultant, and business owner.

Cancellation Policy

Should your course be rescheduled or canceled, you have the option of rescheduling to another course or receiving a full refund. Please note that rescheduling requests will be sent no later than 7 days before the start date.

Refund Policy

If you are not able to attend the class you have registered for, please send an email to info@responsiveadvisors.com . If you send in your notification at least 30 calendar days before the start of the class, you are eligible for a full refund, or you may reschedule for a future class. Cancellations made 29 calendar days to 14 calendar days before the start of the class are eligible to reschedule for a future class or receive an 80% refund. If you cancel within 14 calendar days from the start of a class, or if you do not attend the class, you will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Cancellation requests should be sent via email to info@responsiveadvisors.com
