LEVEL 5 is a professional learning hub and community space that hosts weekend workshops and evening events aimed at sparking creativity and innovation in schools and the wider community.  LEVEL 5 Bahrain is the second location for LEVEL 5 and is an initiative of International Schools Services, a nonprofit that leads schools, facilitates teacher recruitment and provides best-in-breed learning solutions.

عن الورشةالاثنين، 28 مارس، 4:00 م - 6:00 م (توقيت البحرين)الورشة ستقدم باللغة العربيةAbout the workshopMonday, March 28, 4:00PM - 6:00 PM (Bahrain time) GMT +3البحوث الإجرائية التربويةيعتبر البحث الإجرائي نوعاً من أنواع البحوث التربوية التطبيقية التي تسعى إلى تحسين الممارسات التربوية، وحل المشكلات التعليمية التي تواجه المعلمين داخل الصف ويمكن من خلاله إتاحة الفرصة للمعلم لتقييم أداءه المهني بهدف تحسينه وتطويره، إيجاد حلول للمشكلات التي يواجها الباحث بنفسه مما يشعره بتحسن أداءه وزيادة قدرته على العمل والإنتاج، المساهمة في الربط بين النظرية والتطبيق العملي؛ إذ تكون النتائج قابلة للتطبيق الفوري من قبل الباحث نفسه، وتعزيز دافعية الباحث للتفكير والعمل والرغبة المستمرة في الوصول إلى نتائج محددة؛ نظراً لارتباط المشكلة بواقعه وعمله وتمكين المعلمين من بناء معرفتهم ووضعها في متناول الآخرين ليعملوا على الاستفادة منها.Educational Action researchAction research tries to improve educational processes and solve challenges faced by teachers in the classroom. This research can help teachers evaluate their professional performance and develop it. معلومات عن المدربالدكتور أسامة مهدي عبدالله المهدي زميل أكاديمية التعليم العالي (FHEA)أستاذ مساعد في كلية البحرين للمعلمينسيرة ذاتية قصيرة:الدكتور أسامة مهدي عبدالله المهدي أستاذ مساعد في كلية البحرين للمعلمين في جامعة البحرين، وقد حاز على درجة الماجستير في التعليم الإبتدائي من جامعة البحرين في عام 2001، وعلى الدكتوراه في التربية من جامعة بريستول في المملكة المتحدة في عام 2009. وقد حاز على زمالة أكاديمية التعليم العالي (FHEA) في المملكة المتحدة بعد اتمامه لبرنامج شهادة الدراسات العليا في الممارسة الأكاديمية (PCAP) في جامعة يورك سانت جون في عام 2012. وتشمل مجالات الخبرة الخاصة به التعليم الابتدائي، وتدريب المعلمين، والتطوير المهني، والقيادة التربوية، والعلاقة بين المدرسة والمنزل، والأسس الاجتماعية للتعليم، والنظرية الاجتماعية الثقافية، ومنهجيات البحث.Osama Al Mahdi works as an assistant professor in Bahrain Teachers College, University of Bahrain. He completed his PhD from University of Bristol, U.K. He is a fellow of Advance Higher Education in U.K. His research interests include teachers’ professional development, inclusive education in primary education, educational leadership, and home school relationships.
