While virtual production with LED Volume Studios is just starting to take off, the original method of virtual production, chroma key, has been around for decades. Of course, one of the issues with chroma key was the time and expense of post production - especially if there is any camera movement. What if there was a way to combine the best of both worlds? That&#x27;s exactly what we&#x27;ll be demonstrating at Green Slate Studios for this event. Using advanced camera tracking, Unreal Engine and the Blackmagic Ultimatte 8K advanced chroma key hardware, it&#x27;s possible to achieve real time virtual production in an affordable green screen studio environment.This is going to be a very exciting CrossRoads event! You&#x27;ll see the entire virtual system working including tracking of a moving camera on a dolly, changes to virtual sets by moving elements in real time and of course you&#x27;ll have opportunities to ask questions. It&#x27;s a free event, but space is limited space is limited since a good part of the studio will be used for the demonstration - so make sure to reserve your your ticket!Refreshments and networking start at 5:30 with the program beginning at 6pm.See you there!
