Join us for the second series of Producer Labs; a dynamic Producing Workshop designed for emerging and indie theatre-makers!

Blown Fuse Theatre presents:

PRODUCER LAB 2: Behind the Curtain: The Art of Producing and Collaboration

The age old question, What is A Producer? What do they do? Are they important? Can I develop a project without them? Blah blah blah.

If you're an emerging artist (performer, photographer, installation etc) and you're curious about what this role is / sick of doing everything yourself, then this workshop is for you!

Hosted by our Exec Producer: Roxanne Carney

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Theatre company Blown Fuse and Producer Roxanne Carney will share their experiences that have shaped their careers, how they eventually met and made incredible art that reflects real social change.

Then, we’ll explore a real-world collaboration case study with their unforgettable project, “In Her Shoes”. You'll get insights you can apply directly to your own projects finding out when and why a producer was needed for the company, what happened, what happened as a result of collaborating, the big wins and what are the absolute no no’s that they’ll never revisit again. The workshop will be followed by a short Q&A.

Now, it’s time to turn the spotlight onto you. We’ll lead exercises to help you understand self-promotion. Who you are, what are your strengths and weaknesses, what you’re eager to learn, collaborate on - you never know, there might be someone in the room who matches your skillset…

Come ready to engage, reflect, and connect!

WHAT WILL YOU GET:

-Enrolment onto a jam-packed 2 hour workshop, led by Executive Producer Roxanne Carney

-Video recording of the workshop for up to 30 days after the session

-A comprehensive resource sheet with links, tasks and networks relating to the workshop

-An opportunity to expand your network of creatives

-Access to the Producer Lab network

-Tangible tasks to elevate your project

-Signing up to Blown Fuse’s mailing list so you don’t miss future opportunities (you can unsubscribe at any time)
