Are tickets refundable of I cannot attend?

If you cannot attend please contact the organizers of the event, generally tickets are only refundable on a case by case basis.

Can I send someone else in my place if I cannot attend?

Yes, please make sure they have identification ready (Photo ID and Business Card) and are part of your organization/business.

Is there a limit to the number of tickets I can buy?

If I want to advertise or sponsor do I get a comp ticket?

Sponsor opportunities or advertising equal to the  ticket price or higher will receive one complimentary ticket.

What if I have a last minute guest?

They can purchase, or you can purchase, a ticket here at Eventbrite.  If ticketing is closed, they can pay at the registration table the day of the event.

I want to buy 10 tickets or more, is there a discount?

Will there be any food and beverages available?

There are restaurants in the food court next door to the university.  Beverages, a continental breakfast, and lunch will be provided.  However, there is a food court in the neighboring building.

Is there ADA compliant restrooms?

Yes, on the first floor of the building, near the entrance.

Is the building ADA compliant?

Yes, there is an elevator as well as ADA compliant restrooms on the first floor.

Will I be allowed to record with my phone?

Yes, you can record with the express purpose of self use.  You cannot use the video for your social media, websites or other promotional/educational use without first contacting the organizers for review and branding.

Will presentations be available to download?

Those speakers who have presentations will, at their discretion, make them available to attendees.  Sign up to ProcurementCon's notification list for announcement when and where those presentations will be available.

What should I bring?

Pen, pad/notebook, business cards, positive attitude.

Can I sign up at the event for no-cost counceling?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  There will be NJSBDC representatives and an all day lab open, to help you secure an NJSBDC counselor in your region.

Can I sign up with other organizations at the event?

This will be case by case with each organization, however, the representatives of these organizations will gladly exchange your information and contact you?

Can I get certified at the event?

No, the certification process is a process.  However, during the NJSBDC lab hours you can begin the process with guidance.

Will there be anything I need to purchase besides lunch at the event?

Can I hand out my flyers or brochures at the event?

You may share information with people you meet but you cannot deploy a mass amount of marketing during the event.  However, we have inexpensive tote bag stuffer opportunities and will provide a business card table for everyone to share leave their cards behind.

What is a capabilities statement and do I need it at the event

It is a one page document that acts as your company resume.  It isn't required at the event but bring them anyway.

Can I leave the event and regain entry?

As long as you have your name badge, you're good.

Can I bring my service animal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long the animal meets ADA guidelines of what a service animal is.  According to ADA we have the right to ask the animal's purpose to confirm.  Emotional support animals are not defined as ADA service animals.
