.process ist ein jährlich stattfindendes Festival in der Metropole Ruhr. Thematischer Schwerpunkt des Formats sind die Entstehungs- und Arbeitsprozesse von kreativen, kulturellen und technologischen Konzepten und Ergebnissen: Der individuelle Umgang mit Arbeitstechniken, die Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit verschiedener Akteure, innovative Werkzeuge, die Entwicklung von neuen Perspektiven im wirtschaftlichen, kulturellen und gestalterischen Kontext - und alles das was unterwegs passiert. Anstatt des finalen Produkts rückt so der Prozess, dessen Hürden, Spannungsfelder und Gelerntes in den Mittelpunkt. .process legt damit den Fokus auf die Umsetzung selbst und fragt so vielmehr nach dem wie als nach dem was – eine zentrale Frage für eine neue Generation von Menschen in einer sich schnell wandelnden Welt. Zu .process werden internationale Experten, Unternehmer und Kreative eingeladen, um in Vorträgen und offenen Workshops Einblicke in Projekte, Inspirationen und Arbeitsweisen zu gewähren. Dabei entsteht ein lehrreicher und kreativer Austausch für professionelle Designer, Entwickler, Konzepter, Gründer, Forscher, Aktivisten und kreative Köpfe. Dazu erwartet euch ein musikalisches und interaktives Rahmenprogramm im Austellerbereich.   Beim .process Festival werden deutsche und internationale Gäste Vorträge halten und Workshops geben. .process festival is an annual event in the Metropole Ruhr about the creational processes behind creative, cultural and technological projects and ideas: the individual handling of working techniques, the communication and cooperation of different actors, innovative tools, the development of new perspectives in the economic, cultural and creative context – and everything that happens on the road.
This way, instead of the final product, the process, its hurdles, challenges and learnings are brought to the center: .process focuses on the implementation itself and asks for the "how" rather than the "what" – a central question for a new generation of practitioners in a fast-changing world. At .process international experts, entrepreneurs and creatives are invited to share insights to projects, inspiration and working methods in talks, panels. and open workshops. This creates an educational and open exchange for professional designers, developers, makers, founders, researchers, activists and creative minds.
PROCESS is a bi-lingual event - with most of the talks being in German we will do our best to translate and accommodate for everyone to feel welcome and included.
