About this event
T he seminar is 15 minutes west of Downtown Chicago right off the 290.
With over 300 sold-out dog training/problem-solving seminars worldwide, we (Jeff & Joelle) are proving that with the right knowledge and tools, anything is possible. Through our teaching and guidance, owners who were once running out of hope with their dogs are leaving our seminars feeling knowledgeable and empowered. Dogs are getting second chances at life. And this is the driving force behind everything we do.
This is a two-day, intensive seminar where we will work with you hands on to solve your dog’s behavioral issues-no matter how bad they might be.
Our seminars focus heavily on the following issues:
-Leash Reactivity (pulling, barking, lunging, sniffing, or reacting to dogs and/or distractions)
-Resource Guarding (food, objects, and even people)
-Jumping up on you, guests, kids and family
-Nipping/Mouthing (at your arms, your clothes, your kids etc)
-Counter Surfing (something that is very dangerous and destructive that can lead to emergency surgeries and/or bites)
-Dog/Human Aggression (though not totally eliminated at a seminar, we will show you step one to stop it, and give you a game plan to move forward for continued success)
-Separation Anxiety ( a common issue, we will show you how to stop it cold)
-Fear/Nervousness (you will learn how to work your dog past its current limitations so that they can live a more fulfilled life with you)
-Stubbornness (lack of motivation is common and we will show you different ways to motivate your dog)
-Crate Nonsense (barking, whining, trying to break out etc.)
- Duration work on obedience commands around distractions, working on distance, duration and distraction. This will allow your dog to have incredible public access skills so they can enjoy more of life with you. (Think outdoor cafes and busy city-center walks)
Although this is a a problem solving seminar, we also teach our 4 step process for remote collar obedience training, so that you can have a dog that listens reliably off leash.
-Calm on Command training – having your dog be calm in all situations when asked to do so.
-A ll basic on leash and off leash obedience under distraction
-Our philosophy on training dogs to exist and be neutral around everything
-H ow to control your dog's energy and drive
-W e teach dogs how to actually make better decisions on their own, so there will be less micro-managing and more enjoyment in your life.
-We help you build leadership and confidence in yourself.
...and so much more!!
Our seminars prove time and time again that even the most difficult dogs can be trained in a short period of time when the correct tools, techniques, and philosophies are applied. (fast doesn't mean wrong! We work efficiently so you can start enjoying your dog sooner rather than later)
People who couldn't walk their dogs for years out of fear and frustration are walking their dogs perfectly after day one. Dogs that are reactive to other dogs are co-existing by end of day two. By fixing the cracks in the foundation and implementing more structure, we are able to give owners an entirely new lifestyle with their dogs.
Our seminars are open to everyone and any dog--no dog is EVER turned away for their behavior.
From shelter/rescue workers + dog trainers to families and individuals, it doesn't matter how much or how little you know. Everyone is here for the same reason: to learn and problem solve.
I magine being able to walk your dog with a cup of coffee in hand?
H ave company over without risking a bite?
E njoy your dog's company at the local coffee shop?
L eave your house without the anxiety and stress?
I t's ALL possible! And we can't wait to show you how!
