PRO BEAUTY MAKEUP ARTISTRY COURSE

Black Forest Creations Inc., brings you this 10-week virtual makeup course, taught by Hollywood makeup artist, Ruby Polanco, creator of the Ruby Makeup Academy. All levels are welcome, beginner to advanced. You work at your own pace and skill level. No pre-requisite is required. The first class is on Saturday, April 27th, 12 PM CST, via Zoom. The class will be held every Saturday afternoon and will be finished on June 29th.

Every week Ruby will conduct a live demo on the related topic of the evening. Students will be able to ask questions via the chat feature inside of Zoom.

Products needed during your homework/practice sessions, in addition to our kit:

1. Mascara (not waterproof)
2. Makeup removal (wipes and liquid)
3. Hand towel
4. Large roll of paper towels
5. Camera (Phone cameras are fine)
6. Large Ziploc bags
7. Kleenex
8. Your own makeup, as desired, to supplement the student kit

LOCATION:

Zoom. The link will be provided via email each week.

SCHEDULE:

Your live sessions will be once a week on Saturday from 12-2 PM CST via ZOOM.

We understand that life happens and you may not be able to attend the entire 10 weeks uninterrupted. In the event that you need to miss class, please email info@theblackforestcreations.com. If you are on a payment plan, the payment must still be made to Black Forest Creations Inc. on the night of class. You are required to attend all 10 weeks of class in order to get your certificate of completion.

SESSION BREAKDOWN:

Every week your class will be broken down into three components:

Lecture (15 to 30 minutes)

Live demo ( 1 hour)

Q&A (15-30 minutes)

Each course will vary in length as some topics are more complex than others. 2 hours is a good ballpark time frame. Some nights will be 90 minutes and some will be three hours. Just know that going in.

HOMEWORK:

At the end of each night, Ruby will assign your homework. During the week you are expected to work on a live model and re-create the look that you learned this week in class.

Week 8: Men's Makeup, Mature Makeup & Portfolio

Week 9: Creative Makeup

Week 10: Advanced Smokey/Cat Eye

The course is taught by Ruby Polanco. On occasion, there may be a substitute instructor.

TUITION AND PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Black Forest Creations, Inc. offers you the following payment options:

The tuition for the 10-week course is $1,500 and includes your makeup kit ($700 retail value) First Class is Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Three options for Tuition payment:

Two Payment plans are available:

1. $750 deposit to hold your seat. $75 a week for the 10 weeks of class. Note that if you miss class for any reason, your payment to Black Forest Creations Inc. is still due.
2. $100 deposit to hold your seat. $140 a week for the 10 weeks of class. Note that if you miss class for any reason, your payment to Black Forest Creations Inc. is still due. **With this plan, the makeup kit cannot be shipped to you until you have paid the tuition down by at least 50%.
3. PAID IN FULL: $1,250 tuition ($250 discount) when you pay in full.

ATTENDANCE:

In order to receive your certificate of completion from Black Forest Creations Inc., you must attend and pay for the entire course. In the event that you miss class, your tuition payment is still due and you will need to contact us at info@theblackforestcreations.com, about making up the missed day in order to receive your certificate of completion.

SUMMARY:

Black Forest Creations Inc. presents a 10-week, online, professional makeup artistry course, with Ruby Polanco.

Classes will be held via Zoom. Students will be muted during the demonstration. We will open up Q&A after the demo.

After completion of your 10th week in class, you will become a Certified Makeup Artist. This is not a cosmetology license. In order to receive your certification, you must have attended all 10 classes and be paid in full.
