Explore the best of Burpee’s fossils in this 45 min must see behind the scenes tour for any dinosaur and fossil lover! This tour will go as in-depth as you are interested and is led by an enthusiastic guide! You encounter the prehistoric creatures that call Burpee home, learn about fossil preparation into the paleo lab, how fossils are uncovered in the field, and enjoy private viewing of the prehistoric world!

Recommended Age: 10 & Up

Max Group Size: 15

Cost: $30 Adults $25 Children (includes museum admission)

Cancellation/refund policy: Cancellation MUST be received 7 clear days ahead to receive a refund. A fee of 20% will be deducted from any refund after the initial purchase.

Frequently asked questions

Are there age restrictions?

Not for attending, however your tour guide may need to adapt tour for young children. For example, if the children are under 8 years old, particular fossils or other delicate items may not be shared with the tour.

Can I arrange private tours when the museum is closed?

YES! Dates are pending availability. There is a $150 fee for after hours tours plus cost of your group tour and admission. Contact nicole.hayes@burpee.org to book your private museum experience.
