About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Are you a new homeowner or just ready to take the plunge and start some major repairs or renovations? Where to begin? In this workshop, you will learn how to prioritize repairs and sequence renovations. Avoid costly mistakes by making sure you don’t undertake a project that may be undone in just a few years by a different project. Maybe the new bathroom has to wait while you have outdated electrical taken care of first. Should you repair the chimney or get the new furnace first? We will discuss how the systems relate to each other and consider the domino effect of your renovation and repair decisions. If you have a home inspection report, bring it with you. Otherwise, bring your problems and dreams and we’ll discuss what to do, and when to do it.
