CMYK COLOR THEORY WORKSHOP

Artists of all ages will have fun learning about the complex world of color using printmaking. Participants can expect to take home multiple colorful unique monotypes. Ages 6+ are welcome and parents are encouraged to get involved in this fun-creative experience. *Younger children may participate if closely supervised by parent. PROJECT TIME: about 30 minutes

FOAM-PLATE COLLAGRAPH WORKSHOP

In this all ages workshop artists will learn plate making, typesetting, printing editions, and how printmaking can give the artist a voice. There will be some pre-cut shapes and type provided to help in creating their print imagery. Ages 6+ are welcome to participate and parents are encouraged to get involved in this fun-creative workshop. *Younger children may participate if closely supervised by parent. PROJECT TIME: about 30 minutes

2-COLOR LINOCUT WORKSHOP

Adults will learn the process to complete a two-color linocut, including transfer methods, cutting techniques, and registration. Artists will print their own fine art edition using the skills and tricks to enable them to continue printmaking. PROJECT TIME: about 6 hrs.

Iron Frog Press is owned and operated by husband and wife artists Matt Bagley and Sharon Neel-Bagley. Matt has over 25 years of experience in the field of printing and fine art. He considers himself a printmaking activist and is constantly promoting, educating, and advocating the virtues of printmaking. His work is regularly exhibited in galleries and museums both locally and nationwide. Mr. Bagley's most significant contribution to printmaking is the tool he invented called the Print Frog®.
