About this event

Escape the summer heat with some cool printmaking classes. In these monthly sessions at the upper valley campus, we will explore the accessible printmaking process of monotype. (Ink is applied to a plexiglass plate and transferred to paper using a Takach printing press.) At each class meeting you have options: explore a painterly additive process, an abstract subtractive approach, or use organic material for botanical printing. Once you get a taste of monotype you will see the banquet of possibilities that lies before you. For beginners as well as experienced printmakers, you will find a supportive community for art making. Priced to enjoy a single or three-session printmaking class. Limited to six students. For more info or to contact the instructor visit www.nancywillis.com*$30. Materials fee payable to instructor at each class meeting. Includes all inks, most paper and supplies for class. Limited to six students. Pre-Registration required.

Refund Policy: “Requests for a refund on a fee-based class not cancelled by the college must be made at least five (5) working days prior to the beginning of the class. No refunds can be made on requests made after that date. A $5 per person processing fee will be retained on all refunds unless the class is cancelled or meeting times are changed by the college.”
