Join Principles First at The Barn Resort in Gettysburg, PA for an engaging discussion on the "Guardrails of Democracy: Civilian Authority, Military Neutrality."

We look forward to welcoming pundit and host of "To the Contrary", Charlie Sykes, retired Lieutenant General Mark Hertling, former Congressman Conor Lamb (PA-18), former Congressman Joe Walsh, and national security expert and former DHS Chief of Staff, Miles Taylor, for a conversation on protecting democracy by ensuring accountable civilian leadership and maintaining the armed forces as a neutral institution.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leading voices in law, policy and the military, explore pressing issues, and engage with thoughtful commentary on how democratic principles shape our society.

Through engaging discussions and a Q&A session, attendees will gain insights into how to uphold democratic norms, safeguard accountability, and strengthen civic engagement. Additional speakers will be announced soon.
