It’s Tiki Time! A Pre-show Performance with the UNO Goodrich Scholars
Thursday, April 2 | 6:30pm
Location: BLUEBARN Stage | Host: Carrie Nath
The workday is done, and now it’s time to unwind. Hawaiian tunes drift through the air, exotic drinks are in hand, and stories begin to flow. Lots of stories.
Inspired by the themes of the play and guided by Director Kathy Tyree and UNO Professor Todd Richardson, Goodrich Scholar students have been hard at work crafting tales of their own. Now, the time has come to share them.
Settle in before the show and listen as they explore friendship, love, loss, and new discovery—one story at a time.
The Goodrich Scholar Program is a specialized two-year writing-intensive humanities and social science core curriculum that emphasizes cultural and intellectual exploration within our local and global communities. Many scholars are the first in their families to attend college.
