Primal Yoga
Get ready to flow and connect with your wild side in a Primal Yoga session
A Primal Flow Yoga Workshop -YOGA DECK
Saturday, June 13th
10:00am – 11:30am
Coffee + tea to follow
A deep dive into the intelligence of the hands.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the finger pads, palms, wrists, and shoulder girdle as living foundations for movement—learning how to use the hands with the same awareness, sensitivity, and strength we cultivate through the feet.
Through a blend of primal movement, yoga flow, locomotion patterns, and playful exploration, we’ll build confidence moving on all fours, transitioning weight into the hands, and awakening new pathways of stability, dexterity, and embodiment.
This practice is designed to help you:
- Develop stronger, more resilient wrists and hands
- Improve hand awareness and weight distribution
- Build confidence being on hands and feet
- Increase shoulder stability and integrated core strength
- Explore primal movement patterns through a yogic lens
- Reconnect to movement through curiosity and play
Expect a dynamic but accessible flow with options for different levels and plenty of opportunities to modify or deepen the work.
The final portion of the workshop will open into guided exploration and free movement—allowing space to integrate, experiment, and discover your own relationship to the practice.
Come prepared to move, crawl, balance, sweat a little, and reconnect with your animal body.
All levels welcome.
